  Scubarex brought this to dinner with Haggis. A musty nose on this 11 year old Barbera. Some bricking around the edges. The fruit in this wine was fading although the acid structre was solid. Some sour red fruit notes on the finsih. This wine has seen better days. 84 points.

  This had a musty note that blew off in time for the entrées. Aromas of cherry, tarragon, rose petals and sage. An elegant wine, with cherries, dried flowers and herbs on the palate. A nice finish dominated by floral and cherry flavors. A bit more complex than the BdM.
