No detailed notes. Better than earlier bottles, but still an "in your face" style, with noticeable oak on the palate. Hints towards "hot" on the palate, but doesn't get there, hiding its alcohol reasonable well. Fairly one dimensional, with nothing much in the way of tannins or acidity. Unlike some other aged EK pinots I've had, this one has not lost its fruit nor has it become an "alcohol centered" wine. Decent if a person is in the mood for a big, bold pinot. Pair accordingly. There is enough fruit and oak here to carry a fairly heavy dish.

Not as big as prior outings. Flat, nondescript. A bit of time in the glass reveals a light TCA. Too bad, as the raw materials seem to be very nice.

Wonderful, just sings in the glass. Blackberries and strawberries linger on the tongue. Finishes with a bit of earth.
