Red, red, red. Bright red appearance, loads of red fruit in the bouquet and on the palate. A pretty young wine in a lighter style, but lacking in substance. A very nice opening act, but leaves you looking for more. Thankfully for us that role was aptly filled by a brooding bottle of 1989 La Chapelle

Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. Lighter style with lots of red cherry and moderate concentration. Forward and good for its level for current consumption.

Continues to be a nice, light, cherry laden glass of red burgundy. Pleasant but not really of grand cru quality
