Black cherries, compote of plums, leather and animal aromas on the expressive nose. All these elements are also present in the very tasty palate, the alcohol is well integrated and overall this a balanced as far as ripassa's go. A very nice wine indeed.

Full flavour, light spice and ripe blackberry fruit, leathery, light on body. Needs decanting for more than one hour. Enyoyable wine for most foods but in my opinion not for steak.
