Nose: Musky, cinnamon, honey, cooked pear, pie crust. Palate: intense pear and cinnamon. Some cooked stone fruit as well. Viscous, luxurious texture. Good acidity, not cloying in the least, lovely.

Had this side by side with an 03 Guiraud (sp?) sauterne just for fun, and enjoyed the sauterne much more. Honig was much sweeter (although not too sweet) and had an interesting orange-y finish to it. Sauterne was cleaner and more refined. Totally different styles I know, I guess I prefer sauternes.

Very good dessert wine. Quite sweet though. Nothing exgtraordinary, but didn't disappoint.
