A very pretty, dark red/black color. Interesting nose that started like blueberry and blackberry juice moving into a more syrupy smell mixed with a touch of soy sauce, then to a blackberry fruit roll up. Even with all these fruit notes, this was not a fruit bomb at all. A touch of tartness and heat. I felt the bottle was best after being open for about 2 hours. Downhill slightly after 4. Very little tannins and pleasant with cheeses and dinner. Not a homerun at the pricepoint, but a very good wine.
