From magnum. This is sourced entirely from Artz Vineyard. Later vintages say so on the label. Coravin'd into a glass and tasted an hour later. Medium color with a clear rim. Need some coaxing to reveal smoke, black stone fruit and dried herb aromas. Lovely texture with flavors of black plum, licorice and both sweet and savory herbs and spices. There's still some structure to hold it all together. This is quite elegant and harmonious. The complexity comes to light in the very long, satisfying finish. Drink now through 2017.

The Red Mountain AVA is holding up better than the 2004 HHH. Still, not much fruit left other than some cherry. Some hints of vanilla detected. Tannins still prominent with strong finish as you would expect from Red Mountain fruit. I would drink this vintage soon.

This is a delicious bordeaux type wine from Wa state. It is drinking beautifully now, but could be cellared longer. I think this wine is a very good value.
