A tad too heavy on the cherry liqueur flavor, too sweet to be confused with a chateauneuf du papes. Still, a nice enough drink with chinese food.

Excellent wine tonight. May have drank a little late but it was paired with Prime Petit Filet's and went very well. Love Sticks & Stones.
Shared with friends and everyone enjoyed. The wine opened up with some air and the cherry and raspberry flavors came out. The wine had a smooth finish and went well with the Tri-Tip off the grill.
Brown sugar nose with light fruit. Warm, spicy mouthfeel, liquid warm spice. Chewy, teeth-coating goodness.
Rich, delicious sweet cherry, spice and anise, smooth texture. Long finish. Definitely a new world chateauneuf.
