A "just in case" bottle that was opened and consumed after the '09 Sea Smoke Southing. The Sea Smoke was wonderful, and this paled in comparison, although at $12 on sale it's hard to complain. A bit thin and lacking complexity it represented a mid priced cali PN well. If scoring 87-89.

Decanted. Cloudy. From the state monopoly store's Serious Wine Sale at $12. May have been suffering from a bit of bottle shock. Tart red cherry, a little funk, still showing some decent acid. Drinkable and at $12 not bad at all. If scoring 86-88.
