Lambrusco remains an underrated wine. Yes, it's a little sweet but it is light, a little fizzy and refreshing. Perfect with a burger, pizza or spaghetti. 90 is this one compared to other similar wines not to a big cab

This wine is art and tart, full of sediment and I am sure it is past its prime, but as pleasing as the best of Lambic beers. As beautiful and refreshing as any bottle pulled from a picnic basket could wish to be on a hot summer day. A jug of Le Grotte, a loaf of bread, and Thou on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea above Monte Carlo. Think Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. Or is it the Gulf of Lion. Or maybe it’s the Ligurian Sea. Whatever, but it’s wet and blue and beautiful, just like this wine. Except it's red and more opaque than you might expect. Don't miss it for this price, though I'm sure the silky tannins crowd is going to pass it by.

Refreshing to drink cold it tastes like Concorde grape juice with some tannin and leather. not bad for five bucks on a hot day.
