Intensive topical fragrance. Fully ripe palate with lots of everything. But a bitterness comes through and a little oxidation despite perfectly stored bottle. This is a food wine that does not fit into cheese, but it will be ideal for a white fish dish with maybe almond and exotic flavors. Drink now.

Taking on a soft golden colour. Apple, melon and tropical fruit. Sadly the fruit is starting to fade on what was a glorious wine and the wine should drunk sooner rather than later.

Dinner at Grace: Prominent notes of smoke and underbrush on the nose, with hints of saline and confectioner's sugar; light tropical fruits in the background. Medium-light bodied, with the light tropical fruit note from the bouquet surprisingly taking center stage on the palate. I preferred this to the Chapoutier.
