From a nie looking bottle labeled "Library Selection", this wine had a fairly deep yellow center and clear rims. The bright lemon, pear, apricot, and mineral nose was attractive.
In the mouth, this wine was impressive right out of the gate but then settled into a 90 point range. It took the wine another 6 hours of air to come back to its original blast of intensity.
This is attractive and should last at this level for 5-10 years.

Rieslingfeier - BYOB Main Event (Rouge Tomate, NYC): My bottle - pretty sure this was a library release and not an auction bottle. Medium-gold (the color of pee). Nose of creamy spice, botrytis, peach, orange, white peach and white flowers. Very soft and creamy on the palate - spicy, peach, apricot, orange. The acid feels crystallized and hidden, but comes out in the finish. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17.5/20.

Rieslingfeier - BYOB Main Event (Rouge Tomate, NYC): This is all about precision and focus. Still remarkably young with fresh pear, lime and stone fruit flavours accented with fresh herbs and mineral notes, and beneath there's a powerful acid spine that keeps it really vibrant and focused.

Golden color. Still full bodied and quite sweet. Great acidity, long finish, this is young.
