Plush aromas of blueberry, violets, and cocoa. Silky palate with notes of blueberry and boysenberry, followed by a hint of graphite and wood. Really fresh for its age, but not syrupy at all. Impressive.

With Estie at Martino's in Ashland Oregon. PnP. Dark red in color. Nose of violets and blackberies. More dark berries on the palate along with cassis. Smooth, tannin seems completely resolved, with some herb, mineral complexity in the background. Excellent finish. I've had different vintages of this over the past few years (all pretty good), but I believe this may be the best bottle yet. Food was just okay, but the wine was superb.

The best this 2006 has every been. Pitch black, intensely fruity, rich, lush, delicious, wonderfully integrated and seamless, and well structured by refreshing acidity and firm tannin. Kept open and retasted over 6 days with no deterioration. . The darkest wine on the table and supremely good with meat dishes.

Enjoyed by all. Perhaps a bit pricy but a very nice Shiraz.

Very smooth full flavoured red. No sign of degradation. Perfect with blue cheese!
