Nose of floral citrus, and some alchohol heat. Light in color, w/ some apple and pear flavors, a short crisp finish. Tasted next to a Robert Mondavi Reserve chardonnay, 1999. Huge difference between the two wines. The Mondavi being massive, oak & complex. The Duck Pond being lighter, and not nearly as complex. A nice everyday quaffer, the best Duck Pond chard tasted to date.
