From the rankings going up recently, this wine has been getting noticably better. I thought it was outstanding. Dark ruby red. Good berry taste and spice. Deep, rich, and one of the longest aftertastes I've had in awhile. Noticed it lost something as it warmed up....better at 55-60 deg. F.

Color: Medium to intense brick red showing some age on the edges. Nose: Blackberry jam, a little bit earthy, hints of spice and classic California zinfandel. Palate: Not as jammy as I imagined, which is good. I'm tired of the overly sweet zins. Very nice balance with good solid black plum and black raspberry fruit. Hints of spice. I also pick up on the cinnamon and liquorice. Tannins are soft but not altogether absent. A little bit of blueberry dances around on the mid palate. The finish is clean and long. Some wood on the end. Overall a really nice zin that is not typical sweet jammy like we are getting these days. I'm a fan! I think it is drinking well now but I'm not sure it will stand up for much longer.

Enjoyed with ribs. Wine had a nice spice but smooth and balanced.

MEGA tobacco. Easy on the tannins. Not overly fruit forward.

Very nice zin. Creamy, good fruit balance, not too earthy. Drinkable on its on (without food).
