Good fill level but cork was fully saturated and took a couple tries to remove cleanly. Very drinkable, but thin, with little complexity. I think this particular bottle was well past its prime unfortunately.

Still going strong, but definitely on the backside of it's life. As round and smooth a mouth feel as anything I've had. Mostly secondary and tertiary but there is still some brambly fruit present. Very slight bricking, nose of muted roses , two minute finish with elegant tannins still providing a frame for the wine.

PnP. Cork saturated to 3/4 without any apparent seepage. Dark garnet color. Nose - aromatic and complex, dark cherry with hints of camphor, dark chocolate, and tobacco. Palate - also complex, with dark cherry and plum flavor predominant with touch of camphor and black licorice. Medium - full bodied. Soft/resolved tannins, smooth mouthfeel, long pleasant finish. Wine currently in a good drinking window .

Highly recommend. In a superb spot right now - drink or hold, leaning heavily on the drink as no further upside expected with further cellaring but with proper cellaring this still has years to go. Decanted about 2 hours and that was about right. Dark purple, no bricking, softening mouth feel, surprisingly complex, full bodied, oak and tannins well integrated and a lovely very long linfering aftertaste noted. Nose aromatic and dark with dark fruit, kirsch, orange peel and coffee. Flavor profile classic high end Napa cab with dark fruit, black currant, black cherry and blackberry giving way to blueberry, leather, coffee and tobacco.

Decanted for one hour. Really terrific. Lovely bordeaux type nose with black cherry, earth and a little tobacco. The wine is fully mature, wonderfully balance, showing none of the excessiveness of modern day caymus. Deep, pure and complex, flavors of black currant, camphor, cigar box and underbrush come through. Finishes nice and long. A great wine from a great vintage.
