A big improvement over my first bottle. Still had the feeling that this would have been better a couple of years ago. Quite rounded and some burgundian notes.

slightly oxidised - not masssively but comfortably beyond "complex" and "mature" and heading quite a way over the hill. I hope my other bottle is better!

Good stuff. I really like the wines, both white and red, in the Marques de Casa Concha line. Became partial to them after having the 2005 Merlot. Wow, didn't know Merlot could be that complex and interesting. This is a good chardonnay with a nice long finish. Not buttery, but very tasty.

My kind of Chardonnay, but may not appeal to everyone. Forget the "drinking window;" this wine is stil fresh and youthful. Lovely, clear color. Strong nose, with notes of apples, honey, smoke and oak. The first thing one notices in the mouth is a strong taste of oak; this wine is oaky, but not overly so. Under the oak is a nice acidity that highlights the abundant fruit flavors, dominated by citrus and accented by a pleasant mineral component. Very full-bodied, deeply flavored Chard with fine varietal character. Long, lingering finish. Not a lot of complexity, and it doesn't evolve much in the glass, but for what it is, it's an excellent wine. And it costs a lot less than comparable California Chardonnays. This is a real bargain!

Lemony nose. Good balance of acidity and fruit. Flavors of green apple and citrus, with a creamy mouthfeel and a mineral edge.
