  Medium body on the light side, with red fruits notes dominating, strawberry, raspberry, and red cherries. Clearly representing the "Rubis" profile. Very smooth at this stage, with mild acidity in mid-palate and on the finish. Similar in character to some aged pinot at this juncture which was a bit of a surprise. Peaking now. Better than the previous bottle drank in 2016. No funk on this bottle.

  this is drinking perfectly right now, lighter body, very clean and consistent taste, soft fruit, reminded me of a Sherry without the syrup and high alcohol.
