I will echo what everyone else has said. Major coconut on the nose and palate. Reminiscent of Pina Colada. Cloudy, sweet and hot (strong) at 16.5% alc. Tried this with some friends and everyone liked it at least a little. One person suggested mixing w/Vodka and pineapple. Another suggested diluting it with pineapple juice and ice.

Johnson Brothers Sake Tasting (Conference room): This sort of reminded me of those Pina Colada drinks that Sobe puts out. It's just too much, with not much in the way of balance. Tastes like something to be used in a cocktail.

Smell: Sweet, coconut, and bubblegum. (I looked at their description, read bubblegum, and sniffed again and realized it is there. never expected to find that)
Color: A little more yellow than other nigori sakès. Cloudy of course.
Taste: My first thought was pina colada. It's sweeter than the other sakès I've had from them. There some of that bubblegum like flavor again. There's another flavor there I can't identify. It has an anise and citrus finish.
I like this a lot but it is rather sweet which makes me think of it as more of a dessert "wine." I'm sure it would go well with spicy dishes as well as suggested.

Fun but ultimately uninteresting and a bit hot.

Drank at seaside. Sweet but strong. Great tropical cocktail.
