Un nez replié sur soi-même, peu complexe, offrant tout de même quelques arômes de cerises, de noyaux de cerises, ainsi qu’une touche florale nous rappelant parfois qu’on déguste un Chambolle-Musigny.   This absolutely wowed me from the get-go with its energy. Perfectly straddling the line between plush and tart, the vibrancy of the fruit and racy acidity make this a Burgundy for Beaujolais lovers, but with a more insinuating presence. It definitely reveals some of the class of its neighborhood even if the scale and density isn't quite Musigny, nor is the tannin as finely knit. The raciness makes this incredibly versatile at the table but the acidity isn't a shrill top-note; it's nicely shrouded in the bright raspberry fruit with no compromises to its purity besides the slightest touch of cedary oak.
