A quality Gruner with concentration and complexity. Tropical, honey, and pear flavors. My main criticism is an overwhelming alcoholic sweetness and low acidity, which detracts from its drinkability and elegance.

Different...interesting...medium pale to medium yellow. Unique, intriguing nose - floral, lanolin, leesy, almond butter - alcoholly- palate more of the same - not a ton of acid - has a viscous feel - soapgum, Gewrz type flavours-not sure what you'd pair this with - well done to be sure, but I'm not really a fan - it is like a high octane, high viscosity Viognier - too much alc, not enough acid

Very curious start-thin, green and funky, but then it blossomed into a more typical Pichler. Creamy, rich, good but not great acidity and quite sizable. Not exciting.

Light golden in color. This has white pepper, citrus pith, and fresh peas on the nose. This is rich and opulent, but all the while with good acid and cut. More peas, white fruits, white pepper, a more citrus pith. It has '06 fatness that for me detracts a little from its focus. It is very long and while lacking clarity, it is still an excellent drink. 90 pts

Shows plenty of Gruner Veltliner varietal character, but also a big dose of alcoholic heat. One glass and then it's nearly impossible to drink.
