Brown to red. Dominated by volatile acids on the nose. Meaty and quite fat in the mouth. Low in acidity, but good structure due to plenty of tannins left. Definitely not more to gain here.

never my favorite wine, pretty much past its prime...still lots of tannins, but little in the way of fruit. a little brown around the edges...stored properly
Dommage que j'ai attendu un peu trop car ce vin est en déclin. Oxydation excessive et manque de tannins et d'acidité. Tout de même une bouche agréable et des arômes tertiaires assez intérassantes.
Ruby red on colour, rich on the nose with plum seaweed, dark berrys and vanilla. Lacs acid and fruit. Little aftertaste. Over the top. Drink now.
($20) Dense in the glass. Nose is smoke, old wood, liqueur, leather. Ripe, good concentration, fairly ripe, but dry. Meaty.
