  4th of 12, decanted an hour, perfect cork and level, now approaching full maturity, remarkably poised, complex and persistent, limited upside, 10+ years, tempted to upgrade as made a deeper impression than last bottle in Feb 22 and one of the finest BdMs I've had, Soldera included!! VF+ (19).

  Sangiovese study (Chicago, IL): A bit of volatility on the nose that isn't distracting but is also a bit of a calling card for the estate. Lovely red cherries and blackberry notes on the nose, with the same ripe fruited character as the other vintages. On the palate this is silky and drinks like it is fully resolved; the tannins aren't too grainy or hard anymore.
