Yikes! I used my lever pull to open this and it actually pushed the cork into the bottle (I've never seen that happen before). I was a bit concerned about the seal but the wine tasted fine. Medium-bodied with plenty of nice sour cherry fruit and good acidity. Paired well with marinated pork tenderloin on the grill.

Impressive dolcetto. Went wonderfully with italian marinara. Blast of goji berry, carrot juice, and cherry juice on the midpalate. Great acidity and weight. Denser than what I was expecting. Need food, but can appreciate without food. Great italian alternative to Chianti.

Pop n pour. Ageing gracefully with bright, juicy fruits. Textbook Dolcetto d'alba and a terrific food wine. With such terrific structure and acidity, I would not be afraid to drink thru 2011 - perhaps beyond. Approx $21. recommended

A little fruity and boring when first poured but it went nicely with arabiata and as it got some air a nice mineral component developed.
