In magnum. Classic aged burg nose with inner perfume and sous bois. Palate was notably lean and light with a short finish. Over the peak. 94 is a difficult vintage.

Rousseau '92 and '94 Dinner (Scottsdale, AZ): Sweeter and more inviting than the Chambertin. Tremendous minerality well balanced by fruit on the long finish. An impressive wine.

From magnum, still enjoyable but less energetic than 5 years ago. Outshined today by 94 Rouget Echezeaux served alongside it.

Rousseau Chambertin Clos de Bèze: 1964 - 2014 (Per Se): Not the worst... lots of spice, quite rustic, astringent red berry fruit clinging on.
