  Bright disc. Medium ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing ripe black cherry, plum, exotic spices, vanilla and black pepper. Good acidity, high alcohol (16.0%), ample but supple tannins. Full-bodied, with similar flavors as nose. Long, slightly hot finish. This is a big Zin. Very good varietal character but watch out for the headache the following morning!
