  Amazing bottle from the Cotes de Beaune. It is very difficult to overrate the 1993 vintage. These wines have an amazing combination of balance and intensity all done without ever going overboard!. I hope there are still wines like this being produced.
  Clearly some stems included in fermentation, which partially accounts for the longetivity of this wine. Does show some Brett but very much in the category of "good Brett".
  I don't see this wine falling apart any time soon and will drink the remaining bottles over the next 5 years or so... What an incredible value...

  This was really singing and, after breathing in the bottle for an hour, had an expansive aroma and lovely yet savoury fruit. This punched above its weight. Drink in the next couple of years.
