Opened and decanted about an hour before drinking with roast beef Sunday dinner. Immediately after opening the nose was huge! Dark musty fruits and warmth. Colour was dark, brick to tawny. Just enough acidity and soft tannins. a long soft tannic finish. Right in its sweet spot, drink now. A great wine for the money, even if you've paid too much in a restaurant you would be delighted with your choice.

Weekly tasting group #148; A mixed set of white and red wines. (@ DJ): Bouquet with autumn impressions, a lot of spiciness and bell pepper. On the palate quite mature with chocolate, tobacco, a lot of acidity, but also some sweet notes as well as some oak. Still ok, but should have been drunk a few years ago. No score.

Rich, full; Merlot dominates [70-80%]. Completely mature. Deep red, neutral at rim. Rich in mouth; good dark fruit with traces of ceda. Quite long. Very enjoyable.
