Beautiful once again, almost 8 months since we had our last bottle (Papies 94). Decanted for 30 minutes and definitely helped.Citrusy notes from nose to palate, nice mineral profile, long and complex wine. The oak is a nice add on to this wine and the wine dominates the oak. 8 months ago we wrote "We definitely believe some more ageing will only make it better" and definitely so far it is going down that path. 94
good but not great, as with many '06's (and some Bouchard's) this was soft for my tastes, easy gentle with some citrus and some peach, not bright but pleasant, didn't have any caramel after-taste that could have hinted at oxidation, just a pleasant wine but not as bright, lively, minerally as i like my white burgs… certainly no Meursault Charmes, wouldn't hesitate to serve at a dinner party but wouldn't buy more
good, in fact a little better than my first two bottles from this batch, drank with two buds who were used to cali chard so the roundness and - in my view - less than ideal acidity and tension didn't bother them at all, nice in the end but again fell short of my expectations

(Bouchard Père et Fils Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières) Light medium yellow color; appealing, ripe pear, vanilla, white jasmine nose; tasty, rich but poised, ripe pear, white jasmine, mineral, ripe lemon palate; still youthful, needs 1-2 years for integration; medium-plus finish
(Bouchard Père et Fils Meursault Les Genevrières) Wide, deep and forward aromas of cream-edged fruit and brioche. Light in the mouth, fresh yet flavour-packed. An additional dimension of flavour in the mid-palate and a good finish. Very lovely.
