  Transforms itself from bantam to heavyweight with 30 minutes in the glass. Lean and unimpressive out of the bottle, but develops complexity pretty quickly with some air -- juicy black fruits and berries, oak notes and spicy, black licorice that takes the pole position by the end of the evening, crowding out the fruit. Long, satisfying finish that lasts more than a minute. At its peak. Drink now.
