The 05 was light and crisp, but this was neither. Still a soft wine, but missing the acidity and brightness that made the previous bottle a pleasure to drink.

Ordered off the menu at Sage, Boston (South End). Light bodied, cherry, vanilla and leather, soft on the palate with a bit of tannin on the finish. Nice with appetizers.

Light, watery brick color. Nose of green apples, red berries, and vanilla, reminiscent in many ways of a white wine. On the palate, tart cherries and green apples, a bit of spice. Almost non-existent tannins, short finish. Nice little summer red, fun and light, but distinctive.

Interesting wine. Definitely recognizable as Pinot, but light, like a German one. Decent table wine. Drink now.
