Fresh and dried berries with earth and a hint of grilled sausage. Good+ weight and depth. Ever-so-slightly past its peak, but this is from a 375 ml bottle.

Not as rich and expressive as the bottle we had last summer but still very enjoyable despite being past prime. Slight barnyard smell, coppery meniscus, taste of grape skins and dark cherry.

Strong vegetal aromas made for an interesting, almost unpleasant nose. Plentiful fruit with a remarkably rich finish of honeyed mushroom and green pepper--making this well-cellared Beaujolais more like a Rhone than a Burgundy.

pleasant, easy to drink. Low acid, slight mineral finish, short finish. much improved the 2nd night: brighter, fressher, mostly raspberry and some strawberry appear on palate

(Domaine Dichon Moulin a Vent Vielles Vignes) #4; COLOR-dark; NOSE-vibrant cranberry; sand & dirt aspect; TASTE-really ripe, intense, dried, sour raspberry on the back end of your palate; great medium body mouthfeel; gamey; really intense & focused; great red wine w/ fish; polished, floral component; very pretty Beaujolais; the '04 was better; GV-89
