Bottle breathe for 45 min. Good nose with red fruit. The palate is a bit thin but still offers nice integrated tannin/ fruit and complexity. Medium finishing.

Well put together. Another few years will give it the additional layer of sweetness and integration that it needs to add further harmony and a higher score. Slightly thin but pretty nose as you would expect for a GC.

Still dark almost claret colour, limited sign of brick edge. Nose changed continuously through the evening. Initially damp hedge rose and dark fruit, then through the stinky pinot phase and then, whilst tertiary back to the fruit, albeit muted. Very well balanced throughout. Mineral notes and acidity and tannin there but well integrated. Fruit remains clear ( plums and dark cherry). Lovely but not in the very top slot. I'm not sure I will wait further but equally another year is unlikely to see it fall apart

Followed a Drouhin Batard Montrachet and although it is very nice, it didn’t excite. I have been drinking quite a bit of Mazis Chambertin and maybe I prefer a fuller and meaty style. Nothing to dislike but.... Score. 90 or 91 could be either!!!!

Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. As much earth as fruit, which didn't thrill at this young age. Still firm tannins. Ok for its level.
