Medium purple color. Nice nose of eucalyptus, herbs, chocolate and some toasted oak along with some ripe dark red fruits. The fruit on the palate was very rich for cab franc but I guess this style is not uncommon for Cali. Toasty oak and mint chocolate flavors on the palate as well. Well balanced acid and tannins. Smooth mouthfeel and a long finish. I liked this wine quite a bit.

Beautiful dark crimson/purple color to the rim of the glass. Spice, oak, bright cherry, rich palate. Short on the finish. Overall good example of Cab Franc.

Decanted 1 hour. Deep crimson purple just about to the edge. Attractive nose of lavender, lilac and lots of spicy oak. Soft and medium bodied flavors of light plum and spice. Not much middle palate and the drying oak really takes over followed by heat and dry tannins. Over-oaked and drying out IMHO.

Big, bold, ripe style. Still youthful. Lots of dark fruit with pronounced blueberry notes, licorice and tar.
