What a treat to explore the minerality in this delicious delight- sea salt and lip smacking frontier smoked meat were beneath the surface of this apricot, pear and peach fruited floral dream. A hint of marzipan with floral scents of barberry and Champaca flowers combine with the rich and textured fruit flavors to provide uplifting mid palate and a beautiful memory lingering finish. A glass raising wine and I have two more!

Slightly better than the 06 Marc Colin Montrachet because of a longer finish and rounder fruit. Very ripe with mango and ripe yellow fruit with prominent oak. Its quite buttery and fat but the acidity is very low. This wont improve much with aging. It drinks more like a batard montrachet or bbm to me.

Grand vin tout simplement, pas trop évolué, bel équilibre entre cette finesse et richesse “noble”, très long.
Great wine simply, such balance between “noble richness” and finesse, still good acidity to support it all, very long finish.
