I just realized I tasted this wine over a decade ago. This has considerably aged and is less to my palate. Soil nose. Game and mushroom palate. Some spearmint which reminds me of the rare occasions I’ve drank Ramonet. Very little fruit though some rotting pineapple. Some others at the tasting liked this more than me.

Meursault (Northside) 1er Cru vs Village, Mostly Blind (The Moll House - Chicago IL): Single blind in flight. Dark color, totally past its peak. But Village wine in a very ripe vintage should not be expected to still be good at 15 years.

Last of 6, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, clean and pure, as previous good notes, showing greater acidity, au fond a tad simple but lovely in this vintage! F (17.5).

5th of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level,, slightly darker than December bottle and much softer, hint of incipient POX, to drink. VGI (17).
