Medium yellow gold. Nose of schist, flint, lemon-lime, white flowers. Layers of vibrant, somewhat viscous layers of exuberant white pear, lemon-lime, granny apple, flint, and a bit of creaminess on the palate. Still some oak notes, but not excessively so. Vibrant acidity and steely spine. Long finish of apple, grapefruit, and white stone. An excellent, minerally, extroverted, not-so-subtle wine.

Golden color, still light and bright, clear. Tropical fruit with herbs, anise, but also oak, which is still intruding. Age gave it a certain harmony, but it's a wine of weight, and also on the palate the oak makes itself felt. Too bad.

Ripe melon and light pineapple on a rich nose with a dollop of vanilla - perhaps starting to get a little soft. Palate is equally ripe but with great poise and balance. Nice zip of acid to balance what is a rich, ripe full wine. This wine is super but is fully mature. Drinking now-2018.

A's Birthday dinner (Jade Palace): mineral and linear, lovely tension with hint of nuts. Expansive with touch of yellow flower. Lots of lift.
