Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Clearly more advanced than last bottle and only little enjoyment this time. Although the cork came out in one piece and the fill level was much higher (however at <5cm/2inch). Just saying these obvious facts arent always those that really matter

  • Slightly cloudy and transparent red with a pale rim. Cork crumbled. Sherry nose with hints of overripe dark fruit. On the palate preserved plums, dried figs, blackberry, compote, wet gravel, blood and iron. Still with an acidic spine. Clearly and mostly tertiary but holding up quite well for its age. Very enjoyable
