Classic Pommard gravelly scent. Very smooth to taste with mostly resolved, finely knit tannin that's almost silky, but still it snaps back a little on the finish with an abruptness almost like the Lafon. The cretins at the Bordeaux table hated this, but it's actually one of the wines of the day I'd be happier to drink through a whole bottle of.
