Finally had the backup to get into this wine. Deep, structured, mineral in the direction of lead and almost gun powder. Yet it has the fines to show some floral notes, licorice and clove spices. Thick on the palate, luscious on the after taste, lots of mocha, caramel and still some fruit showing.
Pretty powerful vegetal aromas after a bit of decanting. I called it green bell pepper, better palates picked up a brine and called it green olive. Wasn't bad, but pretty unexpected. Calmed down and smoothed out after an hour.
