  On first taste, I thought this bottle was flawed. On the second day it was not flawed, just not a good effort compared to the '97 and the '01.

  Decent cab. didn't get the nasty bitter flavors on the 2nd day that the last bottle did. However, you can probably get a california cab of this caliber at the same price.

  First night, nose of rubbing alcohol, palate very hot with alcohol. Not much fruit until the finish, which was decent length. Decided to let it sit a day to get some air.
  
  Second night, slight vegetal nose, like broccoli - palate had it too. Very bitter and austere finish, tasted like tobacco - and not really the good kind - sort of like a cigarette. The finish did stick around for a while, but I'm not sure I wanted it to.
  
  $15 is definitely too much for this wine - there are plenty of decent $10 cabernets.
