Yesterday I read that Laurence Faller died in May - a big loss for the wine society in alsace and a big tragedy for her family. I had the opportunity to visit the domaine several times - it was always a great experience. In remembrance of her we opened this bottle of riesling. Beautiful golden color, long legs, nose with honey and apricots, taste exotic fruits with a little bit chili, very smooth and bright, good finish

nose started off more toward the petrol side but then blossomed into a younger riesling fruit nose. decent concentration and length but lacking in complexity. amount of residual sugar was modest.

Mature golden colour. Aromatic, butterscotch, cinnamon and brown sugar elements to the palate, although fruit fading a little. Not for long keeping.
