Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Actually called Clos Dofí still at this point.
Open and nuanced on the nose with dried fruits, figs, stonefruits and slight cranberry brightness. Chocolate, nougat, liquorice, tobacco, truffle and floral highlights.
Medium bodied palate with structured feel: bright acidity and silky tannins. Fruit is ripe and red - more delicate than on the nose. Red apple twist, strawberry liquorice, chocolate and slight truffle. Long and layered finish.
A beautiful wine with only 13,5% ABV. Very well balanced and just a joy to devour. Drinking beautifully now. Should hold but the tannins are fully resolved and the delicate fruit isn't getting any younger. I'd drink up.
