PnP initial impression: This is cab franc, no doubt about it. Aromas of red peppers, fresh cut jalapeno, black cherry, and brambles- finishing with a slight bit of VA and brett. I want to hate this wine, but it is so damn interesting I just cant.
Drank over the next few hours. The VA has blown off after about an hour, the fruit became a bit more pronounced, with the spices retreating into the finish of the wine. The brett became the dominant aroma and flavor here. The wine is very dry, with a crunchy acidic structure. Aromas and flavors are primarily dark fruits and brambles with a strong brett/barnyard aroma. Color is a bit muddled, a purple core with some decent bricking on the edges. This drank more like an old, still, fruited oud geuze than wine- rather like a hybrid of the two. Still, a very fun and interesting experience, though it may not be to everyone's liking.

Opened one hour in advance. Sharp aroma of cassis, spice, with a hint of VA. Deep flavors of rich red fruit, with some leafy notes. Leafiness increases in the robust and pleasurable finish.
This is singing right now, and will likely remain at this level or get better for quite some time. Not to harp on it, and maybe there's a good reason for it that I just don't understand, but to me the synthetic cork is an insult to this wine.

Similar to, but more developed than, the last bottle. While drinking quite nicely, it still seems to be holding something back. An excellent and enjoyable wine now but - is this as good as it gets, or will it open up even more over time? And what impact does the stupid synthetic cork have on ageability? Time will tell.

Started out with fragrant berry and clove aromas, but actually closed down a bit over time. Beautiful flavors of chalk, violets and spice, lingering finish. While this is drinking well right now, I think patience will be rewarded. Wait at least another year before opening the next bottle.

Dark purple, typical cab franc green notes on the nose underscored by cassis, tar and black fruits, palate is sweeter than the nose would suggest with loads of tannins and layered dark fruit, finish oscillates between sweet red fruit and burnt vegetables
