Similar in aroma and taste as earlier vintages (Deep purple color. Aroma and palate of dark fruit, leather, and oak.), but finish was certainly more tannic and astringent. Despite that, this is still an excellent bottle.

Deep purple color. Aroma and palate of dark fruit, leather, and oak. Moderately long finish, soft tannins, and decent acidity. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

Very deep ruby color. Mild aroma of spice, garrigue, oak, dark fruit, smoke, vanilla, and butter. The taste evolves with good acidity and richness of fruit. Well balanced, this fruit-forward Languedoc is impressive, pleasant, and complex enough to keep one's attention.
