This bottle has less of the fruityness of the previous two bottles. The underlying acid is becoming more pronounced and I liked this bottle less than the two others I have had.

(Gelin Pierre Gevrey-Chambertin Clos des Meixvelle) Medium-plus colour. The nose is dense with herbal elements - bouquet garni - above pleasing black-shaded fruit. Compared to the previous wines, this has a real ‘executive’ texture and depth. The finish lingers well, shaded with black olive form the oak. This is very good.

from 375... dark fruit profile. a little blood. mineral. a little flat on the midpalate, but recovers into an acid driven finish. quite pleasant.
