Dark, really dark. Somewhere between ginger ale and coca-cola. A rich, Vin Santo-esque nose and a rich, unctuous mouthfeel. Sweetness and complexity on the palate--I do not think that this wine is over the hill, but it is at least close to the downward spiral. Drink soon. Like tomorrow. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

A straightforward TBA still with good acid, apple components, supple with dry roasted salted almonds and apples off the tree. not many much better out of Germany without chaptalization.

(Trefethen Family Vineyards Riesling Estate Late Harvest (375 ml)) This luscious dessert wine blooms with spring flowers, ripe peach, dried apricot, hazelnut, and orange blossom. The rich texture frames intense, concentrated peach and apricot flavors that pick up an intriguing hint of truffles on the succulent finish. Winery Spotlight: Trefethen Family Vineyards

Great nose. Deep color. Very fruity. Thick consistency. Enjoyable, but not a favorite.
