Wow. 31 years into this wine. Still showing some fruit that is elegantly released through 2 hours of dinner. Smooth tannins don't get in the way of this wine.

Really nice wine. Opened up rather quickly, and help up well for a couple hours. Had some nice secondary characteristics as well, including a little iced tea element I love in aged CA cabs.

At Pastis, in Vancouver, our favorite French restaurant in Canada - brilliant as always. Decanted but still started out very closed, with a bit of a vinegar aftertaste. However it opened up in 40 minutes and was brilliant. Typical distinctive Cab nose, great flavor

ORANGE BROWN ON THE EDGE. BLACKBERRIES, LICORICE, AND A TOUCH OF EARTHINESS IN THE NOSE. DEEP FRUIT, BLACKCURRENT, & BLACKBERRIES IN THE FLAVOR. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.

Still drinking well. Soooo smooth. It's hard to believe it's holding up as a 25 year old wine.
Just a classic.
