Dark. Big and thick. Creamy, nutty, pronounced caramelized spice taste. A touch of sweet oak. This was clearly a wine with age, yet it easily could have lasted another few years.

(14.9%) Aged nose and entry before showing juicy dark fruits that turn towards (without ever quite reaching) jammy. Enjoyable if straight-forward and in the process of mellowing but not going to get any better…

Much better than I expected based on recently logged notes on CT. Perhaps there is a bit of bottle variation? Drank at cellar temperature and accompanied by a cheese plate and crackers.
Dark red with consistent color edge to edge
Refreshing nose of red berries, mint, dried leaves, and spices
Initially fruit forward on the palate with some structure to back it up; raspberries and dark cherries followed by moist earth, forest floor, spiciness, chalky minerality, and light tannin on the medium-length finish. Some complexity at first then faded a bit over the evening. A well made wine that is ready to drink!
Goes well with Beecher's Flagship cheese too!

Suprised how much I loved this wine at this late date. Had it with a filet mignon and it paired perfectly. Big jammy flavor with an earthy undercurrent. Smooth on the palette and finish. Wonderful.

A little grassy in the noxe and taste in the begining. Juicy raspberry fruit on entry. Drank it for a few hours. It mellowed and was jammy good.
