Opened and poured, no decant, but wow is this singing. Deep and flavorful without showing any sign of ripeness, this has an intensity and overall balance I can't say I've seen from any other California Chardonnay. No obvious oak, perfect acidity. I can only describe this as Meursault on steroids.

Same superb vitality as previous tastings. I love the way this developed over a couple hours adding a delightful sweet earthiness and yeasty dough note. Exquisite balance.

This bottle was a little less forthcoming but the stuffing was still there. It was like a beautiful scene hidden by clouds; the nose was not as flamboyant but it still showed creamy lemon. The mouthfeel was heavy in the mid-palate, but there was substantial acidity to balance it out.

Just drank my last bottle. Everybody in the group agreed that this was one of the best California chardonnays they had recently. Bright, balanced, with good acid, and lemon flavors and minerality. I look forward to the next vintage.

(Ceritas Chardonnay Porter-Bass Vineyard) Lovely floral and lemon cream nose; very tasty, balanced, good tart lemon, citrus and mineral palate with delicacy; medium finish
